How to get there
By plane.
Malaga airport is the international airport of Andalusia (Spain)
accounting for 85 percent of its international traffic. The airport
has a daily link with twenty cities in Spain and over a hundred
cities in Europe. Direct flights also operate to Africa, the Middle
East and North America.
Malaga airport is
well-served by public transport, with Cercanías Málaga train
directly serving the airport from Malaga city centre. The number 19
bus run by EMTSAM runs a service to Malaga Bus Station and the City
Centre and costs 1,10. The bus runs from 6am - 12 midnight and
departs from the arrivals section in both terminals.
By train. The
AVE high speed train service links the Malaga city centre with
Madrid in appr 2hr 30 mins. Madrid-Malaga AVE ticket prices cost
appr 75 for a single fare if bought on the day, or as low as appr
30 if booked online in advance.
Besides, the AVE high
speed service allows that rail journey time between Malaga and
Seville takes less than two hours.
By car.
